We've been waiting what seems like an eternity to bring you this feature! Pimpster have known about this car for a long time but it was only recently that Dexter, top man at GP Speed, felt the car was sufficiently complete to be photographed. GP Speed's attention to detail is such that they don't like anything to leave their workshop unless it is 100% perfect.
There's an interesting story behind the creation of this car which is best told by Dexter himself:
"The car was originally a project between Tony Crew and Vauxhall, with a Calibra roof sitting on an Omega Chassis and running gear with custom body panels in a 1937 retro style, hence the cars nickname: The Concept 37...
"When built it was code named the Apollo, pretty apt as Apollo’s chariot was pulled by two griffins, and the griffin being the logo of Vauxhall and the car being built from two Vauxhall cars!
