PTM - Performance, Tuning, Modified...

As a new show on the UK modified car show calendar, PTM was to be an adventure in to pastures new for Pimpster. However, with Santa Pod as the venue you are as-good-as guaranteed a good show and day out. PTM was no different in this regard.

With the customary Santa Pod drag strip action of Run Wat Ya Brung and demonstration drags from professional racers and the jet car, the drag strip provided its usual entertainment.

Alongside this, there were a few of the usual trade stalls and side attractions, with the main stage - hosted by Pimpster friend Danielle Christie, the Fuellers Bar - home to the Santa Pod pole dancing, a drifting arena and the numerous car club areas.

Unfortunately on the Saturday of the show the attendance of people and cars was very low, but Pimpster were still there in force to cover the day. Sunday proved to be a lot busier, with many more cars and the crowds of people a lot denser. Whilst the show was still fairly quiet compared to other Santa Pod shows we have attended in the past, it made for a nice relaxed atmosphere and the show proved to be very enjoyable.
