Unfortunately, this show didn't live up to its full potential. After a successful show last year, the show always indicated that it would be bigger and better this year, but for some reason, or a number of reasons, this didn't really materialise.

Shame though, as the show had a good central location, lots of space and was well organised, but the success of the show can usually be judged on its attendance, and ultimately this was the show's downfall.

The bad run of weather was the key factor, as with many shows so far this season, and despite a good day's weather on the Saturday, and a fairly good day's weather on Sunday, perhaps exhibitors and visitors were put off by the unpredictability of the weather, and feared the camp site would be flooded and muddy, etc.

Of the exhibitors and visitors that were there though, a good time was seemingly had by all, and the show had a sort of nice community type feel to it.

Sexpesting were there in force, and this was the main attraction for promo girl lovers, and there were also a handful of other exhibitors and car clubs in attendance to help maintain your interest. The radio control cars track was a fun thing to watch and photograph, and the show did well to hold a tug of war type competition with teams competing to pull a 4x4 Monster Truck in the quickest time.

So, in conclusion, the show was maybe not as good and popular as expected, but it was certainly not a day wasted, and hopefully the weather will be more consistent next year and allow the show to return to its former glories?
