Redline - God of the Pod...

Unfortunately a near on full day of rain proved to ruin this show, with not one piece of dragstrip action and the wet weather putting many people off from attending.

Last year's Redline Rumble show at Santa Pod proved to be very successful, helped by the sunny weather, and this year's Redline show had the potential to be just as good, but you can never rely on the English weather and unfortunately the rain ruined what was to be a fun and busy show.

However, despite the forecast rain, Pimpster didn't let that stop us from attending, and considering it was pouring it down for most of the day, the show was actually fairly busy. The drifting arena was still able to operate, there were quite a few trade stands and also quite a few car clubs on display too.

And even the promo girls didn't let the weather get to them, with many of them willing to take off their coats for some quick pics.

The highlight of the show for Pimpster though was Carly. Pimpster first met Carly back at Santa Pod for the Fast Show in March 2007, and bumping in to her again at this show, spent the majority of the day covering the show by doing numerous pictures of her around the site, including the fun fair, the bar, numerous cars and even the actual dragstrip!
