Edition 38 2007...
Overstone Park, Northants, England
1st-2nd September 2007

This is the show you look forward to all year! Though the UK dub scene continues to add more and more shows to the calendar, there is one that dominates them all - Edition 38! There's something about Edition 38 that no other show has, and each and every visitor to the show will give you a different reason why that is but there's definitely something that attracts people back to the show year after year. This year was the biggest show yet and the September sunshine brought people in from far and wide.

As usual, the main stage was the focus of the show with drive-on presentations, owner interviews and DJs providing entertainment throughout the weekend. The marquee provided the beer during the day and the clubbing by night. There were plenty of traders, many familiar with the Dub scene and knowing not to just bring any old tat to sell!

There were thousands of cars at the show, from far and wide and it was good to hear some European voices in the crowds as we made it round the showground. On show were more PVW feature cars than you could shake a pimp stick at and it was a great opportunity to take in all the mods that the magazine photos just can't do justice to.

On Saturday the judges were awarding the 'Ten of the Best' awards - 10 cars that in the judges' opinion 'just worked'. No cheque book cars of shiny paint jobs; just a bit of creativity and originality - the core of what the Dub scene is all about.

Sunday saw the main show and shine competition with over fourty categories of entry.

Unfortunately this show clashes with another Pimpster favourite - Trax. So it was with regret we had to leave Edition 38 early to see what Trax had in store...

A really good show vibe and friendly atmosphere

Bad Points:

The date clashing with Trax at Silverstone
No strip for watching the cars in action
